Pictures On their backs

How many of you have conures (or any birdie) that likes to lay on his/her back? Ollie just started this behavior after I got him his new tent and I think it's because A. he feels comfortable inside of it but B. because it's the first place he's had to really try it out.

It's so creepy when he does it though He lays there and mumbles to himself and I turn around and you can't see him because he's on his back

Triton sleeps like that. It's so scary to find him belly up sometimes, but he just likes to sleep like that. If he's extra sleepy, he'll sleep belly up in my hand. He also loves to play upside down.

Frodo likes to play on his back, particularly wrestling, but he prefers it if he can hold on to a finger while he does.

It is very cute, but like you said it scares me haha
The first time I saw him do it he wasn't mumbling and he had a foot twitching and I was like "Ollie?" and he jumped up and jumped out of the tent like "What do you want woman?!"

Oh yeah Ollie loves to hang upside down from his cage and play with toys lol. Ollie just naps like this right now, I haven't found him in the morning upside down

Ollie isn't really a snuggler. He likes to lay on his back in his tent and that's it! He doesn't like scritches and the only things I can touch are his feetsies
If Ollie ever went in my shirt I'd be afraid for my skin!
