wow!!!!!!! congratulations.....same thing happened to us..we were convinced Sam was a boy as she talks....99% of female tiels dont talk..she yaks up a storm..imagine our surprise when "he" laid eggs!!

Our George turned out to be female. They ended up doing the test twice to double check. We still stay "him" or "he". I don't think he minds. 
I don't think I'll ever break the habit of calling her a "he". I catch myself constantly.
