NOW ultrasonic oil diffuser- anyone have 1?

Anyone have this? Or know anything about it? Is it okay for my birds- wanting one for myself & my flock to share. Are the NOW oils okay too? I am clueless when it comes to this.

There haven't been specific studies that I know of... many people use this book as their guide. I know there are a couple recommendations for birds in there

Can I ask, do you put like lavender oils and other extracts in here as far as wellness? What exactly is its purpose in humans and birds? Like aromatherapy, but to what extent? I get it's not like an air freshener but could you safely put something like eucalyptus oil in it?

The ONLY thing that is good for your birds Victoria is fresh clean air. Anything else is a contaminant that will be breathed in by your birds and deposited in their bodies and not expelled because of their very sensitive breathing system. It will not kill them in a day or a week but given enough time it will build in their systems. Possibly to toxic levels if exposed long enough. In any case it will shorten their life and eventually cause health problems.

A bunch of placebo quackery IMO. People may believe it is a good thing but breathing anything but clean fresh air for a bird is not a good thing.

I have several diffusers, and DID have this very one. I didn't like it bc it only lasted about 3 hrs and the stream of vapor was weak, so I returned it. I only use doTerra Essential Oils as they are the only pharmaceutical grade essential oil and the purest.
