No\toriously Lazy way to clean the bird room floor


Humidity is down to 45% so no pressure to hurry up and finish....

0. Let birds out.
1. Sweep tile
2. Wet four or five $2.00 lightweight bath towels from K-Mart.



3. Let sit on floor and do whatever else
4. When you think about it....step on towel and drag it around the area.
5. Do this for all five towels
6. Viola, you have a sparkling floor
7. Do daily laundry
8. Repeat the next day.

I have Pergo floors throughout my house, 3 floors .. and I clean floors exactly like you do!!

Sweep, then several damp towels on the floor per floor, then I skate around the house!!


First .. it does actually do a great job at cleaning the floors!!

Second .. leaves my hands free for other things <talking on phone, drinking the caffeine I need to get thru the skate.>

Third .. it's great exercise, gives these middle aged thighs a little workout!!


I keep TRYING to teach the Caiques, considering their awesome "towel surfing" abilities to help out .. but so far .. they're not interested in cleaning the floors, just messing them up

SMOOCHES' room is much smaller, and only one bird, but there's always a damp cloth on the floor. No need to bend over. Just place foot on cloth, wax on, wax off.
