So......supervisor and I were trying to get a medical file in order this morning (it's not great, but not as bad as I feared). He kept finding stuff he needs to update and I kept saying "I'll be doing that from now on".

He seemed kind of floored. Tasks that are a real pain for him because he is not on site will be very easy for me to keep up with. Plus, I will be managing the life of 1 person with 8 staff. He has 20 people and I don't know how many staff (most homes don't get a manager, only the most challenging).

He finally said "the last manager never volunteered to do anything". I said "Yeah, they sent a kid in to do an adult's job"

I won't exactly say it will be cake walk, but I've fixed worse situations.
