Cut in long strips and weave through the bars...cut into strips, zip tie and either hang or attach to the side of the bars....

I use it to line my cages. I don't use any glossy ads or paper with color. I don't know if it's still true that the color ink is not good for the birds.

You can also take small phone books, (or for the big guys, the larger phone books) and just hang them on the top so the pages dangle through the bars. It makes a great shreader toy!

You could cut thick strips and fold in some pellets or favorite treats. Fold up the ends and weave between cage bars. I've done this before with brown paper bag. It is good for shredding and foraging.
