After having to have our 15 year old Border Collie Cheyenne put down last January, my wife and I have been looking for another one. We've had Border Collies for over 30 years. My wife found a farm family in Enid, OK about an hour and a half from where we live that was expecting a litter soon. We put a deposit down for first pick of the females. The litter was born this past Sunday, 3 females and 3 males, all healthy and from pure bred working dogs. The attached picture is the 3 females. Our pick is the one out front with the spot on the top of her head. We are going to see her in 3-4 weeks and will go get her in 8 weeks. Still looking for names. We've had Cherokee Zack, Dakota Sun and Cheyenne Moon. (I'm half Cherokee and my wife is quarter Muskogee Creek.) I like the name Inola (ee-NO-lah) which is Cherokee for black fox but my wife not so much. Anyway, we are excited about our soon to be newest companion.
