Squirt is 8 weeks old now, Still on 3 feedings a day, But soon will be down to 2 feedings, As hes started to eat pellets, and some Petite Hookbill, along with some veggies. He flies very well. I been putting him , in the bird room, to get used to the rest of the flock, & for the flock, to get used to him as well. At nighttime, when the birds are in bed, Squirt goes into my room, for the night, As his last feeding is at 11;00 & the others are in bed by 10. Squirt has become quite vocal, since he spends time with the flock.
He also hates my camera now, So its getting harder to get decent
pictures of him.
What a sweet baby I have enjoyed watching him grow up.
You've done a wonderful job with him. He is VERY cute!
It is amazing how in just 8 weeks that tiny fuzzy creature has grown into such an adorable little bird.
Thank you for the kind words. Squirt is the last baby, I will have, As now my Flock is 9 now. 7 being Quakers, They have been very vocal lately to, LOL Today, Squirt is going in a cage, As he was starting to get to big for a carrier now, & cage will give him plenty room, to play, and plenty room for toys. When the rest of the flock is out, Squirt joins them, But I have to watch a few of my Quakers, as they try to bite him, Squirt runs to me, when he feels panic, from them. So far only 2 have accepted him as part of the flock( Precious & Daffy) the others not yet.
Awwwwwww. What a cute sweet baby.
Squirt is now 4 months, 2 weeks old. Still a sweet baby. Squirt has started to talk a few weeks ago, So far, he can say " step-up, "kiss" pretty, pretty, pretty and "peek a boo. All of my birds, have their own Night night song, I sing to each of them, before they go to bed. Squirt has started to say his song, He learns quite fast.
Squirt is both cute and very smart! Thanks for the update.
