Wow! I'm sure you'll really enjoy it! May I ask why you switched? You have TONS of fun with the macro, I have the non-L version and it is SHARP. :D And man, that camera is making me drool. VERY NICE! :D Oh I forgot to ask: WHATS IN THE CASE? WHATS IN THE CASE?!?!?! Big white prime, perhaps? *Just Googled and WOW that one nice piece of equipment in that case! Shooting sports? I would love to see a pics of that big ol' 300mm on the 1D. Pics from all the lenses or it didn't happen ;)

Thank you everyone Ok Aj the reason I changed was the L lens and after seeing your pics and some on a camera forum made me want to change yep it's a 300mm 2.8l
I wanted a 500mm but the stores don't carry it and it was 8weeks waiting time to get from canon for them to get in stock it
300mm is for taking shannons sport pics and birding with a 1.4x tele
Will take pics waiting on acratech head and lens base to arrive then it will be all go

The L lenses are very shiny and tempting. Canon's superzooms are also cheaper than Nikon's in most cases. Be warned, you will become an L-coholic.
