Wow! Wow! Absolutely gorgeous tank, Carole! And they look so happy and healthy! Big congrats! The plants are awesome!

I am so hoping Pinto will improve soon so he can join the rest.

Hi Carole,​

Check your nitrates in your main tank. Sounds like he gets constipation every time he eats. Try this, place him in the main tank and don't feed any of your fish for a day and see if he floats.​

​

Feed ALL your fish shelled green peas at night as a treat, all they can eat. Stringy white poo can be a sign of a bacterial infection. I would feed all your fish Medi-Gold for 10 days.​

​

Changing food will not help your oranda. I would treat for flukes with Prazi.​

Hi Martine, thank you! Pinto has now been added to the main tank. Today Prazi was added. They fasted today. They are not happy about it.

Late last night they all got peas. Today Pinto is swimming normally!!
