You are going to get criticism for wanting to breed. There are so many homeless birds in rescues. Are you breeding for your own population or to sell them for money? You will never get rich breeding birds! I practice before hatch birth control and abort the eggs by refrigerating them for twelve to 24 hours, then give them back. Over the past five years I have missed three eggs and they hatched and I love the birdies very much. But I have 13 tiels and that is enough. I always like keeping a flock of tiels, a flock of budgies and at least two lovies. My heart bird is Sunshine Senegal and I am still taming Oscar RedBellied. Love my birdies.
