New From Texas

Hi, I am somewhat new here ( I have need reading a lot for the past few months) but am new to post . I have a approx 5 my old quaker named Picachu ( Pika for short). And just this past weekend iced up my new 7 week old Pineapple, turquoise GCC, named Eevee. See below.. Ii have had a bird many moons ago..long story, but I went to Trinidad for work, came back and just had to get one. I enjoyed Pika so much, and wanted a second..so..In comes Eevee lol.. I do have one question I thought I would ask..how long should I wait before I actually let them get close? We have let Pika look and see her, but I won't let him in the travel cage yet, as I feel she is just too small .. suggestions? Sorry for being so long winded !!!

Welcome to AA.
Quarantine your new bird from Picachu for at least 30-45 days. The GCC should be kept in a separate room and it's important that you wash carefully and use a cover up or change clothes when you go from bird to bird. The two birds may or may not get along but after quarantine you can move the cages so that they can see one another. If you let them out at the same time make sure they are closely supervised.
