With 6 or so primaries grown in, Gilly took her first up, up, and away flight today! She flew across the house and made it look so easy. All short flights since then have....not been so graceful. She's flies when spooked and has little to no control on where she's going unless it's straight for a good distance.
I'd like to help her gain control control of her new flighted status. How can I help her to strengthen the muscles and become more agile? She's a year old next week, but she had been clipped prior to me getting her, so this is the first time she's ever flown.
