He still looks a little raged but at least he's no longer naked! There appears to be no affect from the mass in his abdomen, but only time will tell how that plays out. I feel very lucky to still have him in my life and we're cheering every new feather that comes in!

He's still got a way to go and he's still partially naked under his wings but we're working on it. He's come a long way from the naked chicken he was after the surgery, that's for sure. Boy, there were times when he was collared and shredding his feathers and toe tapping and wing flipping that I wasn't sure I had made the right decision but even the toe tapping and wing flipping has now stopped. I'm so glad I chose to do everything I could to keep him alive.
