I feel bad for making the little guy move just after he was getting used to the first cage but I’m pretty sure he or she will be MUCH happier!! Now to convince my husband when he gets home lol.

Wow that's a huge difference. I cringe when I see any bird living in a tiny cage. You have a nice cage top where you can make a nice play pen with various items. Also hang nets and things above the cage.

It came with a playtop but I’m sure if I want to use it. I’d like to make my own I think.

I prefer that too! My birds never seem to like the included play tops!

Thats a good size cage for your Quaker, most of my Quakers use up all areas of their cage they love to play on cage bottom, with their foot toys, and 1 of them (Bubba) has a cardboard box at bottom of cage he loves to play in, he drags his foot toys in there lol

Wow that cage is AWESOME! We have a cage similar to your old one and once our baby is older we are going to get a larger one with an area on top to play. She's only 11 weeks old and is a little clumsy so we don't want too big a cage right now. Fortunately she is able to be out of her cage ALOT! When I wake up in the morning i open her cage door and dont close it until bedtime. I so love how people on this forum cares so much about their fids!!!!!
