New but not new

Hello birdie friends,
I thought it was a good idea to reintroduce myself. My name is Amber and I have been a member for about a year but have not posted in a while.

I have two birds,Arwyn is a 1 year old Meyers Parrot and the princess of the house,and Dexter a 2 year old Dusky Conure who is my banshee. I have had Arwyn since she was 3.5 months old so we are the only home she has ever had. Dexter has had 3 homes in his short 2 years of life and we will be his last. Arwyn is a mommies girl and Dexter love my two boys especially my 10 year old son. I can see why he was returned to the bird store twice,he is LOUD!!! But we love him and he has gotten much better in the few months he has been here.

I look forward to posting and getting to know everyone.

Lol,not really. I think he was just so insecure screaming was the only way he knew how to get attention. Once he realized we would always be there for him he simmered down. He is still super loud and has his moments( hence the reason I call him the banshee) but for the most part he is good. Or maybe my family and I have just gotten use to it

Yes they do! It's funny,when he starts going crazy Arwyn will look at him and scream back as if saying "shut up already" Right now he is making a squeak toy noise just because he can. Gotta love it
