I have a young Senegal Parrot, and I want to know how many Nutri Berries I can give him a day. He's becoming very picky about eating pellets. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AA. Congrats on getting your Senegal. How old is he and what is his name? What else are you feeding in addition to the Nutriberries? Which pellets have you tried?
I give my Senegal and my red-bellied parrot 4 Parrot Nutriberries a day but these are Senior Nutriberries and I'm giving these to them for the milk thistle (for liver issues). I don't use the regular ones.

He is only 6 months old and his name is Niko. We feed him fresh fruit and vegetables and have tried several different types of pellets and think he's just tired of them. He will eat Zupreem fruity blend pellets but only a little bit. He absolutely loves the Sunny Orchard Nutri Berry pellet berries that we have.

Welcome to the forum! I was always told that nutriberries are nutritionally equivalent to pellets. My cockatiel wouldn't eat pellets so I just gave him nutriberries along with the rest of his food- vegetables, seeds, etc.

Give Lafeber a call next week. Their customer support is very helpful. Ask the rep @ how many nutriberry pellet berries you should give your bird. Let her/him know the type of bird and that the berries are not the only source of food.
