Nail trim with AV today

Just got back from the avian vet. Gigi needed a nail trim. Those darn Linnies with their quick growing nails. But Gigi did great and her AV is awesome. I felt like a proud Mama as the tech and docs all fussed over her and she did step up over step up onto everyone. When we were done and I put her back into her travel case, she did contact calls, like hey! I want more attention, lol! Gosh, I love my girl.

I just made an nail appt. for Elvis 2 minutes before I read this. Gigi does much better at the vet's than Elvis does though.

How sweet! This was a good reminder that I need to get Waffle in soon. I wish I could figure out how to do it myself...but those cheekies are so darn wriggly!

I know, I'm so tempted to clip the nails myself. Gigi hangs on the side inside the cage and lets me pet her all the time. Her nails are perfectly situated for a quick clip, but I'll just keeping going to the vet because I just don't feel confident.

She's only 7 1/2 months old. I hope it continues but you never know! We may still be honeymooning. Plus she's an only. Nobody to combine forces with to gang up on me.
