Ok maybe this isnt a rant but I just have to complain.
Im not a big green veggie eater, I do love green beans and salad and thats about the extent of it. My wife and daughter love all greens and so does Lucy.
Why cant they make some of these smell better. Lucy esp loves Brussels Sprouts....:wtf: gag factor on. I cant even get near her after she eats it either

Ok thats my rant :blahblah:

edit: this is just humor, well sort of, I really do hate the smell of some of those :D

you aren't the only one, the smell of Brussel sprouts will drive me out of the house and the building and the flipping neighborhood. I don't like smell of cooked cabbage either. I made chop with Brussel sprouts and the birds would throw against the wall, to the floor, and didn't eat it.:wtf:

You're absolutely right...cooking Brussels Sprouts smell like :wtf:....the same goes for cooking cabbage and cauliflower. I like all three, but can't eat them anymore, due to medical reasons...

You're not alone. I will not cook or eat brussel sprouts or cauliflower. Cabbage is fine raw but cooked...yuck. My mom made stuffed cabbage and the smell was not pleasant.

I don't know if it applies to Brussel sprouts but I do remember a time when it was recommended that I soak cauliflower in a vinegar/water mix to reduce the cauliflower smell. I do not know if this would work for Brussell sprouts.

Your reception to the bitter veggies like broccoli/asparagus/brussel sprouts is genetic :) Look up PTC tasting! You can even order kits on Amazon to test yourself. I'm a low-non taster, I love the bitter veggies.
