My pretty girl is gone

I had to euthanize my beloved 13-year-old ringneck dove, Spirit, this past Monday. She had a medical condition that couldn't be helped. It was unexpected and I'm still in shock. When I took her to the doctor, I never thought I'd be leaving with her lifeless body. I feel completely heart broken.

I have three other boys at home who show signs of confusion. I feel terrible.

Last night I buried her and will be working on a memorial sculpture.

This really sucks.
