@LunaLovebird View attachment 244449 View attachment 244450 The one with me in it is the first day I found him.
The first photo is of a couple weeks ago. I don't know if seeing the full body of my bird would help. If he was a hybrid wouldn't his colors be as blue as the one in the photo?
Jellybean is such a mystery. I wish I knew his background. Lol.
Thanks for informing me he could possibly be a hybrid. Makes my little man more interesting.
Depends on the parents' colours. He's definitely a hybrid though. @expressmailtome is an expert on identifying colour mutations, so maybe he can help. :)

@LunaLovebird is correct that your lovebird is a hybrid. It is hard to tell if he is a cross between a peach face and a black masked, or a peach faced and a Fischer's. Both of those types of hybrids look very similar, and are sterile. There are no health problems associated with this type of hybrid. He does not have any mutations, that is just how the hybrid looks.

Question though. He keeps wagging his tail really fast, preening himself and flapping his wings really intensely. He's been doing it for three minutes now. Could it be because it's his first bath since he's gotten sick?? (A week and two days?)

It's perfectly normal post bath, or just when they're preening.
