My Gecko Icarus

Some of you may know who I'm talking about. My leopard gecko Icarus recently got sick, I took him to the vet in hopes of treating him. Sadly, he didn't get better. He wouldn't open his eyes, he wouldn't eat, until eventually this morning I found him laid out, obviously he hadn't made it.
I had hopes, and I am happy he is no longer suffering, but I wish I could've done more. I had him for six years, and while he was an impulse buy, I'm glad I got to share my life with him while he lived.
