I won him on Aquabid. I paid entirely too much. A breeder was fighting me for the auction. Thanks everyone He is the most magnificent Betta I have ever seen!!!

Oh that's cool. I don't know betta morphs, so that's quite interesting. For snakes though, "o" with any type of white/light pink looking snake usually means "opal" or something like that. I didn't know they had so many mutations

This is the most I have ever paid for a Betta. I think I have lost my mind. He is show quality though. I need a super duper name for him. I am also planning to keep him as they do in Thailand. With no flow, possibly no filtration. While this goes against what many of us think is right, for this fish it will be right. The shape of him will catch any flow, leading to stress, and then disease. I believe this was the undoing of my last Halfmoon from Thailand. This was Thai, I lost him last year-may he RIP.

OMG! I looooove him.

I'm a betta freak! I have a halfmoon, crowntail, and traditional veil in a divided 20 long tank. I love my boys And then I have a regular 20 gallon with 4 females. I love the female bettas too.

I call them my sorority and fraternity house tanks

Thank you Martine! Wait until you see his cool Zen like tank. He will arrive the first week of December. How this works is the seller sends him to a transhipper, then the transhipper ships him to me overnight, once he knows the fish is doing ok..

The 'O' is for 'Over'. Over Halfmoon. A regular halfmoon has 180 degree tail, starting at the cadual fin, when fully flared. Picture the tail like a letter D, that's a perfect Halfmoon.
