My Budgie's tail feathers are missing...

Hey! I Just noticed that my budgie (8 months old that I got from a breeder) she is missing her tail feathers.
I got a new budgie (5 Months) which has tail feathers. (To be her friend).
This is when I noticed the difference and became concerned.
Is my Budgie that is missing her tail feather another breed, or did she pick the tail feather?
Is this normal, or is something wrong?
Do tail feathers grow back?

It was alarming for me the first time one of them lost both tail feathers at once too.

You may find those beautiful tail feathers on cage bottom. Not to worry they grow back.

That is what I understood also.

@204Neptune Please could you post a picture of your bird?
I have seen a cocktiel on social media who never grows his tail feathers but I do not know what causes it. Hopfully someone else might know.

I see OP got this bird a week ago. So I don't think we will know until time passes...
