thanks everyone! My aunt has a PARROT!!! It's middle of the night there but I told my mom I'm so excited to see pics of him tomorrow!

then allow me to share my grandparents (bottom row). He was a doctor, she was a mathematician teaching college. My aunt's in-laws top row, the MIL was Scottish, the FIL was Anglo Indian.

Beautiful ...how is she for visitors

haha, my cousin and his wife and kid live with my aunt. She's in her 90's and doesn't leave her room. Has three nurses for 24/7 care. The story with the parrot is she had him for forever with her kids growing up. It likes on the veranda outside her room. She never goes out but calls out to it and speaks to it. So, well, the parrot passed away two years ago and the kids bought another one, and she doesn't know the difference and still chats with it from her room. So we're going to get to see the new one tomorrow!

My husband and I were invited to one last summer. There were like 1000 people going. They were all dressed in traditional clothing. I couldn't go in!! I had a major anxiety attack. We were the only non Indians there. My husband went by himself.

No, my grandma. I lived with her from age eleven and she made me take math and science.
