My 3 Tiels made it over here!!

Hey everyone!
Just an update on my 3 rehomed/rescued tiels...
Halo is my footless/toeless boy.. no one has a clue how old he is. He was rescued by a woman in the cold outside. He had frostbite (therefore losing his toes/foot) and she rehomed him with me after not being able to find his owner.
Batty is a rescue, I used to work at a pet store and still have friends there, someone brought Batty in and couldn't keep him... the store didn't know what to do with him because they already had a few birds that were surrendered that didn't find a home yet- so I took him in.
And finally there's Phoebe... who was rescued from a life alone in a tiny round cage with a water dish I wouldn't suggest my WORST enemy drink out of.
Poor thing is very scared and shy. But being in with the other cockatiels has really been good for her. She used to call and call but now has settled down.

Phoebe and Batty are semitame. Will put up a big fuss if you ask them to step up but once they're up, they don't mind a scritch. Halo is 100% not tame. Batty is the only one that will take me up on my offers of voluntary out of cage time.

Halo looks to be doing very well! He was on alert in the pix, that's good.
What a bugger it must be to be a bird and not sit down like we do.
Does he get any sores from standing on the stumbs?

Tiels are so strong for such small critters, you just have to love them.
Give them all a treat from me and yourself a pat on the back.
