Thanks for asking. Vann is healing. He was getting a little floaty the last couple of days so I have ordered some other food. Today just veggies. Today it has been a week with the new medication. Three more days of one, and seven total days of the other. Then we can clear the qt tank of meds. I will be working on getting the 90 gallon reset this week. I have found some funky weird things to put in the tank as decor. I am not sure how it will look, but it is going to be very different from the norm.

Looks a lot better, I wonder if the black color will ever go away??
How do you keep the water cold in hot weather? When I had gold fish, I had problems with that...

Yes, the black will go away.

Air conditioning :geek:
It does not have to be cold for fancies, just in between. Room temp.

Our house doesn't have ac, we are hoping to get it installed soon. I was dumping ice cubes in the water. It didn't work that well though, my colored and back fish turned orange. I would love to start up a new goldfish tank, maybe someday.

It is typical for black fish to turn orange. Some even turn white. Some better than average foods can help with some fish. Black is an unstable color in goldfish. Keeping them in ponds sometimes helps too. Black fish with white bellies will definitely turn.
