she is a pot belly pig - there are different sizes, it's best to see the parents to have an idea of adult size and just like anything else, overfeeding can result in them being overweightWhat kind of pig is that? her parents are about 40-50 lbs
some people do keep them inside, they can be litter trained like a cat or rabbit

OMGoodness....I love her, GG! Big Congrats! I hope she keeps the heart. Will her color change when she's an adult and will she have the run of the yard during the day? Sorry for all the questions, I find piggies very fascinating.

She is gorgeous. How big is she likely to grow?
We named her Sassy - it fits her personality, she is a mess :angeldevil:
Her mom is about 40 pounds, dad about 60 - so she will be in that range as long as she is on a healthy (no junk food, low fat diet)
She is on the Mazuri Mini Pig pellets and she gets portion of chopped veggies every day - she eats kale like there is no tomorrow, but will leave carrots in the bottom of her bowl
she is out of the cage now and free in the chicken/duck yard - it's about 60 feet by 40 feet with sun/grass and dirt/shade - we will pen her up at night until her house is ready
more pics tomorrow - trying to catch her without her knowing it yet and that is hard to do
