We have a new addition to our feather and fur family!!

She is a cutie (look at the heart on her forehead ) and a stinker at the same time, she is so curious about things and very independent


Still working on a name, we usually take a few days and get to know the personality first

A pet goober or an edible goober? We're gonna get some edible goobers next year, but we can't call 'em goobers, we'll get too attached! Might have to call 'em dumb fat stinkers (even thought they're not that dumb, a bit smarter than dogs!)

the blunted beak is cute - she will have tusks when bigger and she already nibbles fingers


she doesn't step up, but will stand up on her back legs for an animal cracker

working on the name, my oldest son said to name her Lillie - I have to have something that sounds okay when calling her (as in repeated loudly several times - I have scratched a lot of names because of this )


she was a surprise from hubby. I have always wanted one and he recently had a chance to interact with one and saw how smart they are and he found one on CL and drove an hour each way to go look at her and bring her home

her parents were on site and they were around 50 lbs or so - she should be about that size unless we overfeed her

she is still skittish, she was the last of the litter and was in a barn stall by herself - outdoors is still new for her
