Mom of Four Rescued Conures

[T's Bird Gang]

Hello from Arizona,

Currently in our home, we have four adopted Conures. All have come from our local rescue organization, TheTucson Parrot Rescue. We currently have, Lupe Guadalupe-a green cheek conure (female 8 yrs), Alvin!-Blue Crown Conure (male 21 yrs), Sweet Pea- Conure (female 3 yrs), and the most resent, Arco-a Crimson Bellied Conure (male 7yrs). I am glad to be a member of this forum and quite frankly, thankful that you are accessible, as all of our feathered "children" have issues. I do have questions to post, so I will see you around the Avenue!

Welcome! I believe I have read about your male Arco already! You are so kind to rescue these guys. Since I have no experience whatsoever with biting birds (save for when I brought mine home and was transferring them to their cage), I didn't comment. I only cringed! @JLcribber has an entire thread showing his bites, and I saw it when I first came to AA. It scared me to death! But I am SO glad there are people who love birds so much, they bear with it! It takes a very special person I think.
