Just wanted to start a discussion on molting. Trying to help a friend with her boy that molts severely. Is also a plucker atm.
Just wondering from your experience what is the usual frequency, amount and what you believe increase/decreases the amount.
Echo has only molted twice in 15months. Both times in Jan to March. He was 6 months old with first and it was a big one. Had a huge diet change and molted again same time this year. Its summer here when he starts.
Do diets, housing tempretures, stress, sunlight etc affect molting?
