Molting Alexes

OMG my green giants are looking so unkept right now, the living room is a sea of feathers. They had a shower with me today upon walking out of shower they both shook and I got covered in feathers only the tar missing me thinks.

-They probably molting right now as all birds do this often too keep there feathers healthy. Make sure to not ‘stress’ out your bird during molting as so stress bars don’t form.

My female alex is molting her tail feathers right now and it looks quite comical when she stands beside the male with his long, beautiful tail and her's is almost half the size.
