Messy Eaters?

Are your caiques messy eaters? I swear, Marni takes her pellets and makes porridge out of them with her water, and then it seems she just shakes the food all over the place and it is literally covering the inside of the bars of her cage. I have found food all over the place: on her perches, on her sleepy tent, even on the ceiling! So is this just a Marni thing, or do caiques like to fling food? lol

My birds are all pretty good. The budgie boys were messy getting their food outside their fort until I had DH cut pieces of plexi inserts for the bottom of their fort. That makes all the difference. This time a year, the only thing that is really a problem is fluff feathers.... looks like an invasion of the fluff feather monster every night!!!!!!!

Jazzy and Tazzy fling food like it's a sport!! I swear they compete daily to see who can chuck the good stuff the furthest. They didn't get their nicknames the "dirty boys" for nothing.
