They are not hard to look after, you just have to not look after them like a normal reptile. Very often their viv requirements are compared to that of a parrot rather than reptile so that puts me a step ahead of a lot of people i guess lol! You have to keep their vivs humid, but not necessarily hot as they are not desert animals. They need water sprayed onto the branches and leaves as they dont drink from bowls, they get it from the branches. They probably wouldnt be ideal as a first reptile, but to me they dont seem as complicated as some i've owned (including an iguana which is definately not easy to keep!!) so once you've done plenty of research and set everything up its just a case of keeping on top of things.
