I don’t know if this goes on the breeding section but if I wanted to find a partner for my Quaker. I’m afraid i won’t be able to get one with his same age. Would the mate/pair if they have 3 month difference or 5?? I’m not interested in them having babies but more of being partners!

It will all come down to their personalities rather than age. So if you are not going to breed, age doesn´t really matter though I would try steer away from a really old bird with a really young bird.

I think it´s important to be very clear. Hearing the word ¨mate¨ they may think you want to breed them, in which case it´s better to have similar aged birds.

Glad to have you here, Welcome! 1.welcome signs.gif
