Hi DIY members,

I am making an orbit out of the embroidery rings as some other members have done. While I was shopping at Hobby Lobby, I came across this hula hoop, it is compacted where you untwist and snap for regular sized hoop. Seems it can bend in several ways and will make an interesting swing for the birds to play on once wrapped with rope.
Passing along as it's on sale for $4.

Thanks! The birdies have two other rooms with perch playgrounds ( I like that word) they fly at will to. I may have to make a couple more.
This is my first orbit, below, I learned on this one, lol, hopefully next one will be "prettier". I really wanted to purchase one but price for a large was more than I could swing. It was fun to make too. About $9 to make.

How do you attach the twine, and what type is it, and where do you buy it?
Hi,
It is "Jute" rope. You should be able to find it at any craft store. I got mine at Michaels.
To attach, you just wrap it tightly one section at a time and then tie it off in a knot.
