I had the 2 girls out and Petey was sounding off in the house. I thought, "what the hell; I haven't bled in a while" and decided to humor him. Wonder of wonders, I held the carrier up to his open door and asked if he wanted to go outside. He climbed in the carrier! I was surprised, to say the least. Daffer was extra scarlet sassy tonight, giving both me and Annie what for. Now I I'm wondering how the hell I'll get him back in the carrier. Stepping up on a perch is a battle.

Petey is vocal when he's outside; that's for sure. I'm vocal when I'm bit.

If looks could kill... I hope he at least does something fun while he is out instead of giving you the evil eye. On the up side.... he's very pretty! So did you get the bite going back in? Dang. Hopefully he will load and unload easier in the carrier when he realizes it's the new routine until he calms down. I have a crock bowl that fits into a screw on setting on Henry's door and he gets his teaspoon of seed in it at night with a couple of dried fruit nuggets. Some how it's not locking down correctly and he uses that bowl also as a stepping stone on his way out of his cage. Today he dislodged it and it fell inside his cage. Pretty much sent him in a rage. When he saw me he went in on the floor of his cage and kept attacking the bowl. Makes me scratch my head.. how the heck am I going to get that bowl out? I got a new one I had stored, switched the setting and put a larger bowl in place with some seed. Happy Henry... fit all gone. Phew!!! ( retrieved the other bowl when he climbed out to the top.. quickly.

Sorry, I missed this somehow! My neighbors that could be a problem have annoying dogs and never pick up their yard. One of them made a comment about noise, and replied with "Yeah, but not like your dogs that bark constantly which I don't complain about. And you can't smell my pets' crap in your yard. I can smell yours." Other neighbors have come to see them, and I've handed out feathers to their grandkids.
