Urgent Macaw, Broken Blood Feather

Hiya all not been here in a while, My Greenwing fell in her cage last night and broke a blood tail feather.. it wasn't bleeding last night now it is.. not major but it is bleeding... She has never broken a blood feather before.. and my Blue n gold has but she pulled it out her self... I do not feel anything still stuck in there... I used the Styptic in the first aid kit to try n stop the bleeding .. it don't seem to be bleeding anymore... don't want it to get infected or anything... if any advice please share?

If the tip of the feather isn't still in there shouldn't be an issue. I'd just keep an eye on it. If the end of the feather is still in it will probably need more attention.

Just keep an eye on it for a few days to make sure ti doesn't get infected. If he starts bothering it a lot or if it swells up, then it's off to the vet.

I am gonna try n get her into vet.. cause I am thinking if the folic hasn't closed maby could still be part inside.. tho when I feel it it all feels soft inside... only thing that sucks is out Avian vet isn't in till tommrow so would have to see a diff one also Ivy Jade is being verry hormonal last few weeks... she's 3 years old.. think she close to becoming adult. . Is how my Blue n gold was and she's going on 5 now

Hiya thank you , we are all doing great.. yes still hiking, going to car shows, and hanging at the park.... love my babies so much!!!
