Lunar eclipse =)

Anyone else see it? We're fortunate that it started about 9:30 here, and was eclipsed about an hour and a half later.

We took a ton of pics, but these ones are the coolest. I might upload some more later on if I get time (yeas right). It turned orange once it was completely eclipsed.

Unfortunately, it was pretty overcast and cloudy in Seattle. So I only got to see glimpses of it here and there. It was never red like that though, but then again I didn't watch it the whole time. Pretty cool to see less and less of the moon each time I looked up though!

Very cool picture. I missed it. When I went to bed it was cloudy so I figured I wasn't going to be able to see it. But when I got up at 5:30 to let the dog out it was clear but by then it was over.

I watched it. Wonderful and magical. Started at 0241 here on east coast. Since it happened on the day of the Winter Solstice (shortest day, longest night), the moon was very high in the sky and unsually bright before the eclipse.

i stayed up to 4 am to watch it and even drove up to signal hill (you can google that historic place if you wish) but in the end. it was to overcast to see anything.

It was super Cloudy in Arizona..alot of my friends complained they couldnt see it. I couldnt see it in my complex because there were too many buildings

Nice! My friend borrowed my T2i to shoot a time lapse of it, but I stayed up anyway just to see it with my own eyes. Very cool shot!

It's soooo dark in Alaska right now. Only 5 hours of daylight, thank God we're gaining finally! But the nice thing was that we didn't have to stay up super late to see the eclipse! It was all the way advanced by about 11.

The clouds caused me to miss the gorgeous red color as the moon came back, but it was indeed a stunning experience.

My husband and two younger kids were sick, by my 14yr old and I sat out in the driveway with lawn chairs, blankets, and hot cocoa to watch. It was good quality time!
