Lucy was good today

I got home from work yesterday, Ive been gone since the day after Christmas.
So my big green chicken let me know how unhappy she was that I was gone. I got several chomps yesterday, she wouldnt let me give her scritches and wouldnt step up for me to take her out for our one on one time.

Today she was Miss lovey dovey, wanted to sit on my shoulder all day and talk and preen me.
I gave her a shower which she enjoyed very much. She never stopped singing and flapping her wings while she was in there. Afterwards she flew off her cage to me and wanted to sit with me, so I let her for a bit then put her back and gave her a nutriberry treat (one of her favs) for being such a good girl today.

She has really learned how to say Luvvv youuu and said it alot today
Here she is enjoying her treat.......sorry just had to brag a bit

My husband even got Secret out of the cage today..... that's a major effort!

My dad was visiting this past week and asked me if my chiqui speaks a different language (she does... she switches to Spanish when someone is downstairs and she feels she is being ignored) she cracked him up

Lucy says a few words in spanish, but since I dont speak spanish well, she doesnt hear it much.
My daughter and wife speak it to her so she picks it up that way.
She does sing a couple versions of her own of La cucaracha and Selena songs, its pretty funny.

BoBo is pretty much the same way. I used to be gone a lot, and it would take him a while to warm up when I returned on weekends. He always knew when Monday AM came around, and as I'd be leaving he'd say goodbye in the saddest voice. It used to break my heart.

@greybird57 no she doesnt sing anything in english yet, I cant carry a tune in a bucket, so she is at the mercy of my wife and daughters singing/teaching
