He's still in surgery. Another 30-40 minutes to go.
I hope you are still at the vet hospital. You need to be with Angel when she wakes up, if they will let you. Have you got someone with your other birds, they will be upset and need someone to talk to them; especially Lucy. Lucy will know she has hurt Angel and will be angry at herself, maybe to the point of deliberately hurting herself. Try to stay at Angel's side even if you have to argue with the hospital staff to do it. I'll be on tender hooks until you can say how the surgery went. Try to calm yourself, it was not your fault.
I can't stop crying. She attacked thru the cage bars.
I am moving her into the living room as soon as I get home. I turned my back to give Sergei goodnight kisses and Angel walked over to her cage.

Angel is at least losing his foot. Omg. I know Lucy is aggressive but I never thought she'd attack thru the bars. Angel is so gentle. He didn't deserve this. I feel so horrible.
I drove nearly an hour to the vet emergency hospital. I had to sign papers to give him anesthesia.
He was talking to me the entire time in the car even tho he was laying on his side.

They would not let me sit with Sweet Pea either.., so I know the feeling, helpless. But you got him to the vet as fast as you could and that what counts.
