Cutest Bird Ever!!!
I meant to post this a few weeks ago. I was coming home from the first viewing of the house we are buying and I only just managed to stop the car in time to avoid hitting a massive Goanna that ran across the road in front of me. I was so stressed I wasn’t going to pull the car up in time as I was doing 100km and I didn’t get much warning that he was planning to sneak across the road. I jumped out of the car as fast as I could and honestly expected to see at the very least his tail stuck under my wheel.... I had stopped with less than a centimetre to spare! So after feeling great relief that I hadn’t harmed him I jumped back in the car to get my phone before he took off so I could get some pictures to share with you guys.
He hissed at me and warned me with his big tail, he then took off up a gum tree.
Not the best pics but best I could do given the situation while looking out for snakes as I only had thongs on.

I'm so jealous of all the reptiles you guys have in Oz.
