He's making the cutest noises and has already learned what "step up" means. He still isn't quite comfortable with HOW to step up as he's so uncoordinated, though so it takes him a few seconds to figure out how to move his legs in that way ;)

I'm not happy with how he's eating dry food, though. Seems as if he'll mostly be subsisting on mash for a while.

I think he also gave me a shiner today while he was flapping his wings. :) He's been cuddling with me at the computer for the past hour or so. He likes to lay under my chin like Oscar does :)

He's also having a great bit of fun playing with random foot toys. He's getting better at the 'foot' part of foot toy, though.

awww sounds like things are starting off great. You might try soaking the dry foods a little until he starts eating them better.

awww he's adorable :swoon:

I was told to take mashed away completly and then they'll eat the pellets. Which worked for me. Honestly if he's eating fresh mash, you could just soak the pellets. But the mash should be fine. Or sprinkle little bits of pellets on top

Be careful, don't let him be with you too much. Otherwise it's so hard to get them to play by themselves. I know it's hard but they'll be so upset if you put them by themselves and they'll see it as punishment.
