Without coming across as weird, I love how my lovebirds chicks smell!
Did/do yours smell nice too?
My adult lovebirds smell really good, but the chicks smell sweeter. IMG_20190116_192152.jpg IMG_20190116_192202.jpg

They are so cute. I had a foster lovebird for awhile but our relationship never got to the smelling stage. LOL. I did love the smell of my cockatiel. And Elvis tends to smell like his fruit pellets. :)

Interesting, maybe the chicks smell sweeter because of the formula they eat, that smells a bit fruity.

@Gazimon agree, wet lovebird is musky, I don´t mind it though. I just love their dry smell! :D

I've not noticed my lovebird's scent but my linnies stink when wet. And those little fuzzies are adorable!

Will you add updates as they get bigger? I'd love to see them growing up!
The 2 in the picture are leaving on the 29th :( . I´ll sure add a picture before they go. I love watching them grow too. With my last 2 chicks it was great because they stayed so I saw the entire process. I have 2 more chicks, One is growing super slowly so I don´t know when they will go. It´s hard work having the chicks but oh so rewarding :D

I LOVE how my lovebird smells! He evidently likes me me to smell him because he lets me stick my nose in his feathers when he bends his neck down .

:swoon::swoon:

Sydney and the little ones love it, Jaime likes is for 1 second then hates it and wriggles away, I have never smelled Aldora :(
I suppose it´s similar to head scratches for them :D

So cute! It's amazing the difference in sizes. And what are the parents? I see some bright blue in there ;)

The 3 bigger ones are about the same size. But the youngest is much smaller, looks almost 2 weeks younger yet is only 1 day younger! I´ve raised the little one since day 5, Parents just stopped feeding him, I don´t know why :(
I love seeing all the different colours!
