Hi I have an African grey her name is Phoenix when she scratches she has all kinds of dust that comes off of her! Is there anything that I can do to help prevent this?

Baths can help, but African greys are a dusty species. If they are healthy, there will be dust.

A humidifier helps with the dust but yes, normal and sometimes very dusty.

I would try baths at least once a week and an air purifier with a hepa filter ...it has helped Tyrions dust :)

When Scooter the CAG does her wing-flapping exercises first thing in the morning, it sometimes looks like a snowstorm in her cage. I guess that's an effective way for her to clear off any excess dust, besides giving her wings a good workout. :)
