Lost bird

my cockatiel penny has been gone for sometime now im depressed and worried she ran away into a prarie i looked for her and stuck up fliers but shes still gone what should i do

have you posted on parrot 911? also the fliers need to go everywhere...in supermarkets, at vet's offices, on telephone poles, in people's mailboxes...everywhere....blanket within a 30 mile radius..also put ads on craigslist etc....sorry to hear she is gone..do not give up hope!!!!!

I'm so sorry. When did you lose her? Can you bring her cage outside with food and water? I hope you get her back very soon.

I am so sorry about your Cockatiel, but PLEASE do not give up hope! My mums Cockatiel, Charlie, escaped out of the cage and he was gone for 3 days.

Keep up with the fliers, ring around vets, pet stores, shelters, etc, keep looking around, notify neighbors. Marie suggested a good idea, cage and food outside and keep calling out, I assume you don't have any other birds, otherwise having another bird outside can help too, that or you can play recorded Cockatiel screams/noises.
