my rainbow lorikeet sneaked into my doves cage and started eating his seeds. Now he think about nothing but those seeds. Every time I take him out of my cage he wants to leave my room and eat the seeds my dove drops all over the floor. He doesn't want to play with me anymore and 'playing' with him is now not fun. He'd bite me if I don't give him seeds. It's like I don't exist to him. How can I fix this problem? It's very heartbreaking to me when it feels like he doesn't care about me anymore. All he wants is seeds and I know it's bad for him to eat it. Please help!! Thank you in advance..

I realise it's a pain, but I'd be doing the following:

Clean up the dove seed before letting the lorikeet out.
Ensuring no access to the dove cage
Covering or removing the dove cage from the vicinity of the lorikeet whilst out.
Have a small treat available to attract him across
