Hello. I am looking to purchase an African Grey or a Goffin cockatoo or similar bird. Would like to be at least semi hand trained. I live in North Carolina and am looking for NC only or close by in South Carolina. I am not looking to break the bank but will pay reasonable price. Want to see if anyone knows of any. Would consider a Indian Ringneck as well. I currently have a Hahns McCaw named Ringo which my wife and I have had for over 4 years. We are looking to get another. My wife stays at home all day as well. Thank you in advance and have a blessed day...

You should not bring an African Grey nor a cockatoo into your home with your Macaw. Macaws are sensitive to the dust of these dusty bird and may develop PULMONARY HYPERSENSITIVITY SYNDROME. It is deadly and will kill your macaw.

Several of the owners on this forum have lost their birds due to that disease.
