I was hoping to get some corkscrew skewers from Mother Pluckin' but Michelle is out of them, so I decided to get some straight skewers from Expandable Habitats just because they are close to me and they had some wood I wanted to try. I'm so happy with my package! I got 4 16" skewers and two mixed wood refill kits. The refill kits are a mix of ash, hard maple, beech, and pine. I unpacked everything today and filled up the skewers and still have wood left! I'm so happy with them that I'm going to order four more but this time I'm going to go with the soft wood kits for my lazier birds. They have some rope perches I think I'm going to get too. The bonus is the brochures they put in the box for me...now I have to convince Jon that we need another EH cage! LOL!

Love skewers......

I bought twisty ones when I was at Phoenix Landing's retreat.

My wish list is getting smaller. I'm thinking 2 stainless steel cages, one pak o Bird, two heaters for the cages and my little loves are set for life (provided my grandsons agree to accept them when I keel over).

My list never seems to end...I could go bankrupt buying stuff for the birds!:)

They make great products. The fact that they use different types of wood is great for the birds.
