Long time lurker finally joined

Hello everybody!

I've been lurking on this forum for a while now (since I decided I wanted a parrot) and I finally decided to make an account! I have a 6 month old GCC named Drambuie (Boo) that I got in September. He's the best pet I could have ever chosen and I cannot imagine how I'd manage without him. Everyone in the forums posted such wonderful advice and I wanted to say thank you! I knew EXACTLY what I was getting into and haven't had any rude surprises because you're all so honest.

He thinks he's helping when he grabs the cotton strips and runs off with them. There's a trail of them across the apartment! All his fancy toys on his 2 fancy play gyms and he wants to play with shredded cotton sheets.
